Youth Groups

    Hardins Chapel is lucky to have not one but three youth groups: Mission Kids for the younger children, the Youth Group for the older youth and Team Kids for the youngest.  There are also a variety of activities throughout the year both connected with and independent of the youth groups.  See the Special Events page for details.

Team Kids are for ages 3 through grade 2.  They meet on Sunday evenings from 6:00 to 7:00 in the basement and are led by Daniece McAmis and Jessica Hope.  They learn Bible stories and have fun activities as they begin learning about their Christian life.

Mission Kids are grades 3 to 5.  They  meet on Sunday evenings from 6:00 to 7:00 in the basement and are led by Michelle Proffitt and Tina Jones.  They study and memorize Bible verses and engages in a variety of fun activities, such as their "trip" to China on evening and even occasional real trips as they explore the missionary aspect of their name.

    In addition to the weekly Team and Mission Kids activities, those interested in singing are invited to be at the church at 5:15 on the nights that the groups meet to learn new songs that they present during the worship service.

   At 5:30 on the nights that the  Team and Mission Kids meet, Cindy Kricko is also leading them in a simplified bell chime set for Christmas.  All she asks is that interested children and parents commit to being at all the practices and the Christmas season performances.

 

    The Youth Group for those aged 12-19 meet on the second and fourth Sunday evenings at 6:00.  They are led by Crystal Duggar and Chris Johnson.  They too engage in a variety of fun and learning activities and trips throughout the year.

    The Youth Group who are interested in singing are invited to join the adult choir for practices on the evenings that the Youth Group doesn't meet and they also have a Tone Chime choir that performs on special occasions during the year.
