(Neh.) 8:4 “Ezra stood on the pulpit with eleven men.”
I’ve been blessed with pulpits, over ever one, I have prayed. This is not vanity bragging, it’s my words about being afraid.
(Neh.) speaks of 12 men all standing. Yet today, the pulpit is so small, Preachers seem to be dancing on a stage. Never using the little pulpit at all!
I envy their strong faith and belief, tho it makes me feel very small. I cling to my pulpit tightly. If I didn’t, I know I’d fall.
It’s not so much a fear of God, or the congregation wanting news, about Jesus coming back to earth, that I hug pulpits, not pews.
Satan has freedom to roam around. Every church, he visits to see, not so much the gatherings, but just the pulpit and me.
My strength doesn’t come from the pulpit, It’s from God, ever so near. He always says, “Come John, let’s go.” His love stands with me, not fear!
So, I don’t dance around the pulpit, tho times I could cut free. I’d rather stay with my Father, cause, He’ll always take care of me. Thank you, God.
