Night Dinner the open date is: April 21.  Contact Nancy Klaasse, 398-0320 or Jewell Smalley, 657-6963.    We need a VBS Coordinator.  Please see Julie Williams, April Riddle or Sharon Chase if you are interested.    The 2009 Tax Forms are available in the Commons Area.    The Choir is beginning to work on Easter Music and would love to have new people, so please come and join us!   Our thanks to Louise and Leon Fannin and all who helped with the Men's luncheon last Friday.   The JERICHO BRASS BAND will be at our church Saturday, March 13 at 6 p.m.  It will be a benefit for the Tri-State food Pantry.   Laura Cross is coordinating a drive to make fifty bags for DFACS to put together bags for foster kids.  We need the following items: small stuffed animals, toothpaste, deodorant, socks.  If any of the Sunday School classes would like to pick an item we need 50 of each item.    Our Joy Quilters have starting back on Friday at 10:00 a.m. to begin quilting a lap quilt.  All persons who like to quilt or just have a good time of fellowship are invited to join us in the upstairs storage room.     Tuesday, March 9, we will have a Dade County Cooperative meeting at 7 p.m. at TUMC.   The Lay Speaking Basic Course Training will be held in our Fellowship Hall Sunday, April 18, 3-5 p.m.; Sunday, April 25, 3-5 p.m. and Saturday, May 1, 9 - noon.  If you are interested in taking this course you may register by calling the Chattanooga District Office, 629-0333.   Sunday May 23, Chris McDaniel will be at our 10:00 a.m. Worship Service.    TUMC is pleased to announce the introduction of an electronic option for making regular offerings.  Contributions can now be debited automatically from your checking or savings account.  Our new electronic giving program offers convenience for you and much-needed donation consistency for our congregation.  If you are currently giving on a weekly basis, you will no longer need to write out 42 checks a year or prepare 52 envelopes.  And, when travel, illness or other circumstances prevent you from attending services, this program will allow your weekly offerings to continue on an uninterrupted basis.
